May 1-5, 2023 is Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week! Our teachers and staff help our Cubs grow in so many ways, so let’s show them the appreciation they deserve! Each day during the week features a special way to show your gratitude. Participate on a day that works for your family or join the fun all week long.
There’s also Chalk the Walk happening over the April 29-30 weekend. Come to campus to draw flowers and write words of appreciation that will make our teachers and staff smile when they arrive to school on Monday morning.

Additionally, Cubs PTA will sponsor a variety of fun experiences for teachers and staff throughout the week, including a smoothie bar, breakfast buffet, staff lounge farmer’s market, mobile coffee cart, and cinco de mayo taco lunch.
Send a gift card to recognize the people who make our school so special! You may send a gift card to a specific teacher or staff member and PTA will deliver it on your behalf. We hope you’ll also consider sending a gift card to our general collection; these gift cards will be delivered to our wonderful custodians, aides, cafeteria and office staff, and others. Help us recognize all 70+ people who keep Hollyglen blooming day after day!
